Hair like Waves

Hair like waves
Crash over me
Tangled in the night

Against my skin
between my fingers
I hold on tight

I stay awake
To watch them break
Fading in the light

Hair like waves
Crest on me
Forever in the night

Dude, you are gonna have to write some crap, because I am running out of compliments!

The sorta dual imagery at work here is awesome. Intense. I think this poem is perfect. Don't change a word. Flawless.

It reminded me a wee bit of a line I really like from a Leonard Cohen song: "With your hair upon my pillow, like a sleepy golden storm"

I like that line.

I like this poem.

Like is nice!

Ha ha ha!

Honestly, I don't know what to say. This is good. I hate it that it didn't come from me. Ha! No really, I like it...a lot.

I realize that this post is out of date - but I loved this poem. I am blessed to have this sensation every second of my life...I am elated to know that others elicit the same enjoyment from it.

Really beautiful imagery in this one.

I think I love it all the more because my boyfriend is fussy about my hair getting in his face, etc, because it makes him itch. Not very romantic, I know.
