Drought
Dry Spell
Relationship hell
Burnt carcass smells
No rain
Reflects the pain
Baggage still remains
Hang on
To ticking bomb
Many years too long
Words small
I speak them all
Rain starts to fall
Sky cries
The fuse dies
End of all the lies
Relationship hell
Burnt carcass smells
No rain
Reflects the pain
Baggage still remains
Hang on
To ticking bomb
Many years too long
Words small
I speak them all
Rain starts to fall
Sky cries
The fuse dies
End of all the lies

I really liked that. I read it a few times and each time is seemed to grow more complex, but yet hold onto a very appealing simplicity. It's also wonderfully descriptive and I think each of us has been there, well, at least the first 3 stanzas. The last two are the hardest.
I'm living this right now...
