I really like this, the ending is A+
I can relate too. It's funny, for me at least, because thoughts like those are almost anti-inspiration.
Which is why its nice to see them set right.
"People feel samier"
I've been wondering when I'd see the word samier get used.
Like the ending and the beginning tie-up. And the gap imagery, like trying to miss a crack in the sidewalk, and it turns into hell's canyon in mid step, and you're too late to take the last step back, as in a nightmare.
Glad I dropped by here. Everyone's poems made me think.
